Sail away from the safe harbor.
Catch the trade winds in your sails.
Explore. Dream. Discover. - Mark Twain

[Edit] I fixed the hooves, which were too bright, lowered the opacity of the text, which was also too bright, removed the halter, and fixed the back leg, which i had accidentally erased in the previous image.
*second Edit*
I fixed the Horizon, replaced the ship, lowered the saturation on the horse (it looks loads better in my opinion), made the text smaller, and played with brightness and contrast. [/Edit]

For ~kaijax as a prize for placing first in my contest a while back. Also, made for ~horsenia's contest on photomanipulating for a friend

I'm particularily proud in this piece. I've never done anything difficult or intriquite with sky, and for the first time, I played around with solars and such. I'd like to think that I did alright for my first time =)

The ocean was also new to me. I think I used 5 pieces (4, maybe?) to create it.

Surprisingly, No music was played while I did this. Just my brother and his friend playing around with the wii in the background. I renamed one of my files, and now ALL of my music on iTunes has to be put in again. UGH! Thats going to take a few hours.

Originally, because Kaijax mentioned to me she likes runes and such, I was going to do a temple coming up from under the water... Well, I need to work on my skills before I attempt that again. (and possibly find a tutorial on splashes.)

Oh! I was reading *devils-horizon's most recent journal on crediting the original artist when you reference an image so, I'll be doing that now.
I was looking at =arrsistable's A mermaid in Mourning And I just loved the water. Actually, I loved the whole piece and it inspired me to create ths one. Now, as she didn't have all the images linked (just the stock providers) I kind of took my pick of what I wanted, but I did copy hers to an extent. (The very top water-wave is the same as on hers, except arrsis does a blending job I couldn't even hope of :P)
So, A big thanks, Carol!

It looks great all except the hooves, they really pop out up against the light rock it is standing on. But other than that, it looks great!

If you love something, set it free.
If it comes back to you, it’s your's,
If it doesn’t, it never was.

Check it out now ;)
I realised that as soon as I put it up.

Just take OUT The stars (*) and replace the "link here" with your own URL and the "Title here" with your own title :)
Very easy. It's the basics of HTML.
